This is my personal blog where I talk about The Hidden dangers of social media and How i think that it may have a negative effect on young people. Here you will find research, statistics, videos, news reports and many other beneficial information about this case. I specifically talk about the story of a 14 year old girl named Molly Russell who took her own life because of Social Media and talk about the dangers of social media to young people. I believe young people are venerable and can be to exposed to harmful negative content on social media if not used properly. Young people tend to be gullible to things they see online and this is to bring awareness to people especially parents that have young children. This is to convince parents to be having conversations with their children and talking to them about the hidden dangers of social media and to also monitor their use of it. I also do a interview with one young person to talk about Social Media and ask them what do they think about it and what are the pro and cons of it, and to ask what challenges do they face on a daily basis with it. I also do a interview with one of the advisor's from the Molly Rose Foundation who talks to me about what the foundations does and how they raise awareness for this campaign. His name is Andrew Burrows he was kind enough to talk to me about what the foundation does and how they are still coping with the death of Molly Russel. Her Father is the one that set up this foundation it was a way to raise awareness and to give knowledge of what happened as he didn't want to give up he wanted justice for his daughter and wanted to fight for her as he thought that she didn't deserve what happened to Molly Russell. It was to also give anyone out there help if they are going through a similar situation such as Molly's.
